Um pião de Michael Bartels já perto do final quase lhe compromete a corrida, mas mesmo assim consegue acabar em 5º e dessa forma continuar à frente do Campeonato. |

| Após o quarto lugar na qualificação de Sábado alcançado em pista, Miguel Ramos foi entretanto “castigado” com a queda de cinco posições na grelha de partida devido a um toque involuntário no Ferrari F430 de Kirkaldy/Bell durante a sessão de pré-qualificação “Foi um toque dado sem qualquer intenção, devido a falha na travagem. Acho que foi uma situação de corrida perfeitamente normal, mas o Colégio de Comissários assim não entendeu”. |

| Após o excelente terceiro lugar que a qualificação de Sábado prenunciava, a dupla Miguel Ramos / Xandi Negrão terminou no 2º lugar a prova controlada por Bouchut e Maassen, mas poderia ter vencido, não fosse a dificuldade de Negrão em arrancar das boxes após a ultima paragem nas boxes. Repetindo a mesma classificação alcançada no ano passado (3º nos treinos e 2º na corrida) Miguel Ramos era ainda assim um piloto feliz no final da prova, pois os pontos e subidas ao pódio são o tónico para uma boa temporada, ainda para mais num circuito como Monza, onde a maior potência dos Corvette e dos Aston Martin era um factor em seu desfavor. |

| A temporada de 2008 do Campeonato FIA GT arrancou este fim-de-semana no circuito britânico de Silverstone. As condições atmosféricas adversas no início das duas horas de corrida, com chuva e muito nevoeiro, provocaram uma autêntica lotaria a definição da melhor estratégia para os timings das trocas e escolha dos pneus para a prova. A Vitaphone Racing decidiu pela utilização de pneus de chuva macios no início da corrida, tendo trocado depois para intermédios e mais tarde para slicks, enquanto que o mais acertado teria sido começado logo com os intermédios. A entrada do Safety Car a quinze minutos do final da corrida, provocou o reagrupar do pelotão e uma disputadíssima corrida de sprint nas últimas 10 voltas. |

Com um handicap de 60 kg e uma saída de pista protagonizada por Montanari, hipotecou as hipóteses da dupla, que tripula o Maserati MC12 Nº2 da equipa Vitaphone Racing, conseguir um bom resultado. No competitivo Campeonato FIA GT - pilotos GT1 - Miguel Ramos terminou na quarta posição a apenas um ponto do terceiro e a três pontos do segundo classificado. Na classificação por equipas a Vitaphone Racing foi a campeã pela terceira vez consecutiva, contribuído o facto de todas as corridas da temporada de 2007 o Maserati MC12 Nº2 tripulado por Miguel Ramos ter terminado nos lugares pontuáveis. |

| Miguel Ramos obteve um excelente resultado ao terminar a competitiva prova realizada no circuito de Monza na segunda posição.
